A Travellerspoint blog

Big news today, Tyler had her braces put on. One grandchild down and one to go. Had lunch on the beach, and stopped to see son number two. Craig and Val are having a pool installed and the deck closed in. The whole back yard is a mess and the pool guys are about a month behind. With the short summers on the Cape it doesn’t leave much time for enjoying the pool. Valarie has her birthday today and son number one has his birthday on Sunday. Busy, busy, busy. See ya.

Lunch at the Lobster Trap

Grampy Tyler and Jodi

Grampy Tyler and Jodi

We went for a walk this morning and stopped for coffee and a ham and cheese croissant. New place that just opened up a few months ago. We pressed on and spent some time with Diane and ran into Al along the way. It was fun catching up with some old friends. We took the girls for lunch at the Lobster Trap and got our clam and scallop fix. The food was great and the company was even better. Not sure what’s up next but will keep you all posted. We are having a great time.

Cape Cod

We made it, back on Cape Cod with the grand kids. It was great seeing Jodi and Tyler and the rest of the family. We are getting caught up on all the latest music and fashions. And I can’t write much more because I have a GCOS. Grand-child over shoulder. Have to run see you all later. IMG_0655.jpg

Travel Day

Travel day today. We left Urs and Christine around 9 this morning. We had a great time and will miss those late night discussions. We stopped in Hershey PA for the evening and plan on hitting the hay early. We should be back on the Cape sometime tomorrow afternoon. Jodi and Tyler see you tomorrow. Love to all.

The last day

Urs and Christine

Urs and Christine

Hi all. We didn’t do much yesterday. We had a leisurely breakfast on the patio that ended around 11 and spent most of the day talking. Urs, the computer whiz, helped me with my computer and now is running like a spring chicken. Wouldn’t it be nice if you could download a few programs for our bodies and they would run like new again! We had a nice Swiss sausage dinner, with lots of discussion and several bottles of wine. Christine and Annette went to bed and Urs and I continued our discussion until 11:30, before we gave up and headed off to sleep. It will be sad leaving this morning. We had a great time with two fantastic friends and will miss them dearly. Well time to pack and get ready for the next leg of the journey. Somewhere in PA there is a hotel calling us.
